I run a small engineering consultancy. DORA / Westrum / DevEx audits for engineering orgs in the 50-200 range. AI-augmented engineering rollouts on small teams. Occasional 1:1 work with newly-promoted directors. By referral.
Vault automation
2024 -- present

A personal Obsidian vault that runs like a data pipeline. iMessage extraction, Amazon-order ingestion, AI-classified email triage, daily reflections. Everything logged to a single Activity Log spine. Scheduled via launchd, 6 AM ET.

Director of Engineering at a small consumer-tech company. The bet is AI-augmented engineering on a team that ships product, not tickets. Less middle-management, more taste.

Consumer health platform

Director of Product & Software Dev at a large consumer-health ecommerce platform. Owned the P&L for mobile + web, scaled the engineering org through a CPaaS migration, ran the design system and DevEx workstream.

Multi-venture founder era

Co-founder and CTO across four small companies -- one stuck, three didn't. Built early-stage iOS, fintech-adjacent web, and the systems plumbing for a couple of vertical SaaS swings.
2010 -- 2016

iOS apps shipped

Native iOS for a backend-as-a-service (open source, ~200 repos in the org), a TensorFlow self-driving game demo that had a moment in 2017, a couple of consumer apps that didn't.
